How Flying Blue works
Miles
Earn Miles on eligible flights or options, through certain everyday purchases, and with our partners. You can use them to book a flight, enhance your journey, stay at a hotel, and more.
Experience Points (XP)
XP reflect your activity and loyalty. The more you fly on eligible flights, the more XP you earn, which elevates your status. Your status is reviewed at the end of each qualification period.
Flying Blue status levels
Your status level offers a wide range of benefits. From Explorer to Ultimate, each tier unlocks access to services such as airport lounges and priority boarding.
Progress with every journey
From your first flight to Platinum status, Flying Blue rewards your loyalty. Every trip brings you closer to the next status. Earn 100 XP to reach Silver, another 180 XP to reach Gold, and another 300 XP to reach Platinum. Once you’re Platinum, earn 900 UXP on eligible Air France and KLM flights to reach Ultimate. Each new status brings you more benefits.
