General Conditions of Sale for the Private Check-in Lounge (Vestibule) Option
In the present General Conditions of Sale, unless otherwise indicated from the specific context, the expressions and terms below shall be defined as follows:
"Air France": Société Air France, a limited liability company under French law, with its registered office at 45, rue de Paris, F-95747 Roissy CDG Cedex, France, and registered with the Registry of Commerce and Companies of Bobigny under the number 420 495 178.
“La Première Cabin”: area aboard the aircraft for customers who have purchased a La Première fare ticket.
"Customer": an individual person of legal age who has booked a ticket in the La Première Cabin on an AIR FRANCE flight and who wishes to reserve a Private Lounge Vestibule Option.
"Terms and Conditions of Sale" or "Conditions" or "Present": the Conditions herein defining the General Conditions of Sale for the Private Lounge Vestibule Option.
"Long-haul": flights operated by Air France between Europe and Asia, Oceania, Africa (outside of North Africa), North or South America, the Middle East, the Caribbean, or the Indian Ocean.
“Private Lounge Vestibule Option” or “Option”: the possibility offered to the Customer of purchasing paid access under the conditions defined herein.
"Price" : the price of the Lounge Option varies according to the fare paid.
By subscribing to the Private Lounge Vestibule Option, the Customer may reserve a private lounge for 4 people located in the vestibule for a period of three (3) hours on the day and for the time slot reserved, upon arrival of their long-haul flight in the La Première Cabin.
The Private Vestibule Lounge offers specific services:
- On-site catering service with menus by Chef Alain Ducasse.
- Business: Videoconferencing on the lounge screen.
Subject to the conditions set out in Article 2 hereof, the Private Vestibule Lounge Option is a paid service available only to customers traveling in La Première Cabins.
Access to the lounge can be reserved by the Customer at an additional cost of 1,500 euros or 300,000 Miles per lounge (for 1 to 4 people) traveling with the customer on the same flight.
This offer is only available for flights arriving at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport. Guests traveling with La Première Customer must not have any checked baggage.
The customer can book the Private Lounge Vestibule Option via a dedicated La Première phone line the day before their departure, or at the airport with an agent from the La Première team, subject to availability.
4.1 The Customer may pay for the Private Lounge Vestibule Option using one of the payment methods offered on the Websites.
4.2 Payment for the Private Lounge Vestibule Option may be made using Miles, where applicable.
The Private Lounge Vestibule Option is associated with an Air France flight number and must be used on the day of arrival of the flight and for the reserved slot (3-hour slot) for which the Customer has purchased a Private Lounge Vestibule Option.
The Private Lounge Vestibule Option is subject to availability.
The Private Lounge Vestibule Option purchased by the Customer may be modified or transferred to another flight, depending on the fare conditions of the Customer's ticket, subject to availability.
7.1 The Option offered to the Customer is personal and non-transferable. Once the Private Lounge Vestibule Option has been purchased by a customer, it is non-refundable in cash or Miles credit, except in the cases outlined in Article 7.2.
7.2 The customer who has purchased the Private Lounge Vestibule Option may only be reimbursed the Price of the Option in the following circumstances:
- The flight for which the Customer purchased the Option is canceled, changed, or delayed by the airline, and the Customer decides not to travel,
- the lounge is unavailable due to a voluntary flight change made by the Customer,
- the plane ticket purchased by the Customer is refundable.
The Customer may request a refund for the Private Lounge Vestibule Option by completing an online claim accessible via the "Contact us" section of our Website.
Air France shall not be liable and shall not be deemed to have failed in its obligations in the event of non-performance of all or part of the services covered by the present contract due to a case of force majeure as defined or interpreted by French law. In such a case, the Customer shall not be entitled to any indemnity, interest, or compensation for any direct or indirect loss suffered as a result of the failure to provide services.
Air France reserves the right to alter these General Conditions of Sale at any time. Subscriptions to the Option will be subject to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale in force at the time of booking, unless a change to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale is required by law or governmental authority (in which case this change will also apply to all orders already placed).
